Ta Kala Vouna

TA ‘’Kala Vouna ’’ is a model cheese-making unit with state-of-the-art facilities and machines. Our purpose is to produce products of high standards and quality as well as innovative products that our land is offering.

Special emphasis has been given to the creation of a new series of organic dairy products, aiming to offer a healthier and a more sophisticated view to the consumers’ dietary habits. Our goal is the gradual commercial development from the local level throughout Greece and predominantly abroad.

Spirulina Nigrita

Spirulina Nigrita of Christo Anastasiadis was established in 2017, so it is a new business structure in Humniko Serres, has invested significant money and know-how in production facility until now, aiming to the significant increase in production volumes, by prolonging the productive period (from 5 to 12 months), by making better use of natural geothermal energy in the location and also by creating new growth pools for spirulina. Along as the quantitative increase, rationalization of the production process takes place and the stabilization/optimization of quality control procedures too.Spirulina Nigrita is certified as particularly high quality globally, due to the combination of specific geo-climatic conditions of the area (sunshine, geothermy) with superior facilities, since the production pools are closed (Greenhouses), contrary to the dominant international practice of open pools.

For these reasons and many more we have become attached to Spirulina and we strive respectfully to raise the Greek production as top worldwide!

Hyssopus Organics

The goal of Hyssopus Organics, which was founded in 2017, was the multiple processing – utilization of aromatic plants. The company has signed contracts with local farmers in the village Agkistro in Serres. There are 27 acres cultivated with: oregano, thyme, lemon balm, hyssopus and sage. Meanwhile, the company holds a collaboration with the Department of Foods of AUTH for the research and the development of innovative products.

The company aims to build a processing building in Agkistro, in close distance to the cultivations. The products will be extracts and essential oils which will be used as raw materials in cosmetics / food / drug businesses. In 2018, the company earned the 1st prize in the PanHellenic competition of Innovation in Aromatic plants, from the Aroma Hub in the University of Patras.

K Health

In 2014, the Konstantinidis family decided to invest in a Aronis processing plant and apple. The unit started in August 2016.

The plant is one of the most modern in the manufacturing sector. With modern-art equipment, facilities and professional staff ensure that the resulting products are excellent in quality terms. The company observes all the rules of health and food safety and holds iso 9001 and haccp 22000 and certificates for organic production.

To all manufactured products are analyzes of the nutritional labeling as well as substances harmful to the human body by certified laboratories.

Varmazis-Hot sauces

VARMAZIS ‘The hot sauce factory’ is a new food manufacturing company specializing in the production of hot sauces, BBQs, dressing and  products specially designed for the food industry.

With fresh and innovative ideas for both the consumer and the professional chef who is looking for ideas and solutions to use at his kitchen.

We import hot pepper seeds from all over the world and we work with modern nurseries. We work with growers who cultivate exclusively for our company in order to be able to control the whole process. Hot peppers, fruits, vegetables from local producers reach us in top quality.

The raw materials are local and it takes only few hours from field collection to first sorting and processing.

mCubed

The company is occupied with data collection and analysis through cutting edge technology products. At this moment we are working on BETA testing our products and get to know our customers better. We have designed an ecosystem so users can check on the position and health status of their animals in real time. It is comprised of a smart collar, web and mobile app compatible with any internet access enabled device. We are addressing farmers and animal or pet owners. The company’s income comes from product sales and monthly fees for access to the web and mobile apps. We have designed an innovative product that does not currently exist in the market with the characteristics we offer. Especially in the cattle breeding industry, technology has not been used sufficiently for the optimization of productivity, which is one of our company’s goals. Our strongest point is the fact that we have a products that is both innovative and original, but can be customized for many different applications.

Imfarms

Imfarms has been producing vegetables for five years, with sales targeting specialized customers, both wholesale and retail, which is growing every year. Production is done with sustainable practices with special aim concerning environment and the customer.

The new and innovative plan for its development is to add the proper infrastructure to its primary production to become a multi-service farm, a customer-visited farm and extending the services of the farm to include sports, educational and social activities that will take place at the farm. These will allow the strengthening of human relations on a social level within a space that promotes the protection of the environment and the reunification of man with nature.

Another important area will be the research and subsequent application of results, in various relevant sectors, like agricultural, energy and technological, but also to other areas very important for our lives, such as housing and health.

Golden Tree

Golden Tree is owned by Aikaterini Eleni Zotou, an organic olive farmer who produces flavorful, healthy extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and other olive products in Kalyves, Chalkidiki in northern Greece. To help her spread the health benefits of the Greek diet as widely as possible, Zotou takes advantage of new technologies and modern methods. Her focus on producing high quality products has led to numerous prizes in international competitions.

Many of these awards have recognized the nutritious value of Golden Tree products, and tests have revealed that Zotou’s Wild Athos EVOO contains over four times the amount of polyphenols required for the EU health claim for olive oil. Scientific studies suggest that such high phenolic content indicates potential anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective, and neuroprotective benefits.

Zotou donates Golden Tree products to several studies and programs: Harvard University’s Feeding America’s Bravest study of the Mediterranean diet for firefighters; the Interreg Mediterranean Aristoil project focused on olive oil’s healthiness; clinical tests using olive tree leaves to fight Alzheimer’s at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece; and studies of the advantages of olive oil polyphenols at the World Olive Center for Health in Athens and the UC Davis Olive Center in California.
