
Konstantinos Demestichas is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development of the Agricultural University of Athens and a member of the Informatics Laboratory. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, as well as postgraduate degrees in Quality Assurance and Techno-Economic Systems (MBA). He has more than 20 years of experience in research and innovation projects, having participated in over 30 national and European initiatives in coordination and technical leadership roles. His research output includes more than 200 scientific publications. His research interests focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning, with an emphasis on data analytics and their applications in agriculture and environmental domains.
