Ioanna Karra was born in 1990 in Liopraso, a village in Trikala, Thessaly.
Born into a farming family in a rural area, she loved this way of life from a very young age. It was her family’s belief, and her own, that in order to continue and work in the primary sector, she would first need to be equipped with knowledge. Thus, she completed her studies at the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus and then graduated as a Dairy Technologist from the Dairy School of Ioannina. This year, she is attempting to begin her studies at the Veterinary Department of the University of Thessaly. For the last 3 years, Ioanna has joined her desires and strengths with Thanos Zouzoulas. Thanos is a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer from the University of Thessaly and a passionate sheep farmer and agriculturist.
Together, they founded an exemplary sheep and goat farming unit in Zilefti, Trikala, called Farm Stalos.
