Athanasios Dedousis is Director of the Agri-Food Centre of Excellence at Piraeus. He holds a PhD in Applied Sciences, a Master’s degree in Biosystems Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Robotics and Automation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Machinery and Irrigation Technology. With 15 years of professional experience in the agri-food sector, he has worked across FMCG, agricultural machinery, and banking. He has extensive experience in designing and developing innovative solutions for the agri-food sector, with a strong focus on sustainable production, technological transformation in agriculture, and productivity growth. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at Greek higher education institutions. His research has been published in international academic journals and by leading publishers, including the Journal of Biosystems Engineering and Springer Verlag.
