Fotis Chatzipapadopoulos is an electrical engineer, entrepreneur, and technology executive with over 30 years of experience across telecommunications, defense systems, manufacturing, and agri-food technology. He holds a Diploma and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He is currently CEO of Smart Agro Hub S.A., a spin-off of the Agricultural University of Athens and a leading competency center for smart farming in Greece. At Smart Agro Hub, he has spearheaded the development of the agros® digital farming platform and the e-situ® experimental smart farming field, while establishing the Smart Agro Lab incubator for agri-food startups. His areas of expertise include IoT, big data analytics, AI, precision agriculture, and digital transformation of the agri-food sector.
