
Nikolaos Gousios was born in Larissa and is a graduate of the Department of Folk and Traditional Music at the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus. Since the age of 18, he has been professionally engaged in agriculture, with main crops including industrial tomatoes, pulses, cereals, and cotton.
He has extensive experience in primary production and in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by Greek agriculture. At the same time, he is in the process of establishing a livestock unit, aiming to expand the productive base and strengthen the local economy.
As President of the Cooperative, his goal is to promote sustainable development through collective action, transparency, and innovation, with a primary focus on improving members’ income and quality of life. He envisions the creation of a modern, outward-looking, and robust cooperative model that supports both new and experienced producers, while fostering local development, innovation, and the preservation of tradition.
