Sakina Babayeva is the founder of Baku Textile Factory LLC, Chairwoman of the Board of Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurship Development Association at the same time member of the Presidium of the National Confederation of the Organization of the Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

She is an economist from the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy and Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science – Entrepreneurship Policy in Ilham Aliyev’s Strategy. In 2010, she was nominated for the membership of the Parliament and since 2014, is a member of the Economic Council at the Ministry of Economy and the Deputy Chairman of the Women’s Council of the Binagadi District NAP.

Sakina serves at the following organizations:

  • Board of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Azerbaijan
  • Presidium of the National Confederation of the Organization of the Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Azerbaijan
  • Public Council of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan; and Deputy Chairwoman of the Board
  • Turkish-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce by the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan
  • Tripartite Commission on Social and Economic Affairs in the Republic of Azerbaijan by the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan

In 2017, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, she was awarded the “Progress” medal for her effectiveness of the public life of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
