
Vasso Papadimitriou is the Director General of the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (SEVT) that represents the largest manufacturing sector at the national and European level. Through her role in the Federation, she contributes to the communication and collaboration with the authorities, the social partners and the EU institutions, aiming at promoting the positions of the sector and its participation in shaping policies on issues concerning the Food and Drink Industry
She is a member of the Board of Directors and of the Scientific Committee of SEVT and a member of the Board of the Hellenic Technology Platform “Food for Life”, aiming at defining national priorities and strategies on Research and Innovation.
She is also a member of the Committee of Directors General of FoodDrinkEurope (European Food & Drink Federation), whose role is to contribute to the development of strategies of the European Food and Drink Industry.
She is a graduate of the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and has a Master of Laws (LLM) in European Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), of the London University.
She is married and mother of two daughters
