He was born in Saint Dimitrios village and raised in Sitochori village, Municipality of Visaltia, Serres.
He has studied French Language and Philology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with further studies in Paris, France.
He owns a Foreign Language Center in Serres and teaches there since 1990. At the same time, he writes articles for local newspapers and presents the news on local television.
He has been elected a prefectural councillor and a regional councillor of Serres for three consecutive terms, from 2006 until today.
He is the President of many associations with social, educational, cultural and athletic action.
He has participated in lots of educational programs.
He speaks French, English and Italian.
