Spyros Georgiou is Commercial manager, Crop Protection & Seeds in BASF for Greece and Cyprus. He is an Agronomist. He graduated from the School of Agriculture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He started his career in 1990 in ICI Hellas ABEE and in 1997, he moved to ZENECA Hellas AEBE, a company that succeeded ICI Hellas in the market of Agricultural Solutions. In 2000, after the merge of ΖΕΝΕCA και NOVARTIS he moved to Syngenta Hellas.
Since 2010, he works in BASF Hellas as Sales and Commercial Manager for Crop Protection & Seeds. Throughout his career, he supported the companies he worked from various position in Marketing and Sales departments.
Since 2012, he represents BASF Hellas in HCPA as member of the board and as treasurer of the board.
