Mr. George Zafiropoulos

He was born in Serres and studied at the School of Physical Education and Sports Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which is situated in Serres.

In 2003, he was hired at the Prefecture of Serres and worked as a secretary of the Prefectural Council for 7 years. Since 2011 he has been working as a secretary at the Office of the Vice-Regional Governor of Serres.

Mr. Dimitris Giannakis

Since 2011, Dimitrios Giannakis is elected Chief Vice President at the Serres Chamber of Commerce. He has been President of EAKME and TAMES, he is constantly elected to the Chamber of Serres since 2001 and in his professional carrier including following:

1983 to date: Is a top insurer with significant experience as unit manager, assistant manager etc.

2016 to date: Chief Counselor of the Hellenic-Serbian Chamber

1973 to date: Athlete – basketball coach with pan-European entrants.

2000-2007: Deputy Chairman of the Association of Insurance Brokers.

He was born in 1959 and has studied Economics-Marketing in Thessaloniki. He is married and has two daughters.

Ms. Olga Daniilidou

She has studied Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpretation at the Ionian University, in Corfu, Greece.

She has worked for three years in the private sector as a freelance translator, interpreter and a teacher of English.

For the last 9 years, she has been working in the public sector, at the Regional Unit of Serres (former Prefecture of Serres), and more specifically, from 2007 until 2010 at the Office of Press and Public & International Relations, from 2010 until three months ago at the Vice-Regional Governor’s Office and for the last three months she has taken over the Tourism Office of the Regional Unit of Serres.

She speaks English, French, German and Italian.

Ms. Elena Kostopoulou

Highly qualified and self-motivated luxury hospitality professional with vast experience of over 25 years in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events (MICE) sales and planning within international hotel chains and landmark hotels such as Hotel Grande Bretagne, Hilton Doha, Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi and Hilton Abu Dhabi.

Her responsibilities include but are not limited to the sales and planning of different types of local and international events such as conferences/congresses, press conferences, workshops, trainings, meetings, outside catering etc between 10 to 2.000 attendees.

Furthermore, her role is to maintain and establish business relationship with existing and solicit new accounts through proactive sales activities as well as lead her teams to success.

Always working with high standards, paying great attention to detail and following standardized operating procedures to ensure smooth operation and exceed guest satisfaction.
