Dr. Dimitris Folinas

Dr. Folinas Dimitris is an Associate Professor in the International Hellenic University. He possess a Ph.D in Applied Informatics from University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece and a Master of Information Systems from the same Institution.

For more than 15 years, he has held various teaching posts with the TEI CM (Department of Logistics), University of Macedonia (Department of Marketing and Operations Management), teaching mainly Information Systems, Operations Management and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

He is the author and co-author of over 190 research publications, 10 books, and as a researcher, he has prepared, submitted and managed a number of projects funded by National and European Union research entities such as Attracting Leading Scientists to Russian Educational Institutions, Eurostars Programme, FRS-FNRS.

His research interests and working experiences refer to enterprise information systems, logistics and supply chain management and technologies.

Dr. Theodoros Sidiropoulos

Dr. Theodoros Sidiropoulos is a lawyer practicing in Thessaloniki appointed to the Supreme Court

He holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham and a Ph.D. in Company Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

He has participated in academic specialization programs in e-commerce at Harvard Law School and the University of Macedonia

He has been practicing law since 1999, specializing in commercial and civil law, contract law and e-commerce law

He is the author of legal textbooks in his area of ​​expertise (internet law and company law) and has published legal studies in scientific journals

He has worked as a course instructor and lecturer in the IMESE MBA for Lawyers post-graduate program, as well as a trainer in academic programs at the American Farm School (AFS)

Dr. Eleni Athanasiadou

Eleni Athanasiadou is a Horticulturist (BSc, MSc) and a Landscape Architect (MLA, PHD) AUTh. She is currently laboratory teaching staff of the School of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, co-teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses relevant to landscape architecture at the School of Agriculture, School of Architecture and at the Joint Postgraduate Program of Studies ‘Landscape Architecture’.

She has co-supervised over twenty undergraduate dissertation theses and been involved (as a participant or coordinator) in workshops and architectural competitions (gained one honorable mention). She has participated during 2002-2016 in national and international research programs under the themes of crop protection, organic farming, landscape architecture and urban rejuvenation. She is the co-author of two books (on organic agriculture and on land-use planning) and one book chapter (on resilience of the suburban landscape, to be published).

She has published three papers in scientific journals and ten and nine papers in international and national conferences proceedings, respectively. Her PhD thesis was on spatio-temporal analysis of the suburban landscape using landscape metrics and her main scientific interests include landscape planning and landscape ecology. She is Vice President Communications of PHALA (PanHellenic Association of Landscape Architects) and a member of IALE, LE:NOTRE Institute and EUCALAND.

Mr. Kleovoulos Alexiadis

Mr. Kleovoulos Alexiadis is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company «Alpha Plan Consultants». He is a graduate of School of Higher Industrial Studies of Thessaloniki, with a major in Business Administration.

He has many years of working experience in the fields of Sales, Marketing and Management of multinational enterprises. He has worked for «Athenian Brewery» as a North Greece sales executive, a position with many responsibilities (1990-1992). During the period (1998-2001) he was Commercial Director for Carlsberg, in Greece.

From 1989 until today he is a Certified Lecturer of the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) and he is also qualified by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. From 1989 until today he is an experienced tutor of Management, Marketing, Sales and Human Resources Management. He has also been a board member of Ltd corporations.

He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and a board member of quoted, or not, Ltd Enterprises. He is a board member of Greek National Health Service (EOPYY) since January 2016. He represents Alpha Plan in organizations such as Hellenic Management Association, Greek Exporters Association, Federations of Industries of Greece, Business Consultants Association etc

Mr. Vassilios Tsekeridis

Vassilis Tsekeridis is a graduate of the Department of Planning and Regional Development/ School of Engineering (University of Thessaly.) He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration (University of Macedonia) and a Master Degree in Finance (Alba Graduate Business School).

He has more than 15 years of experience in consulting services to public and private sector. In the public sector he has worked mainly on operational programs, public and private partnerships, European cooperation initiatives, evaluations of operational programs, both for Greek and European Authorities.

In the private sector he has participated as a project manager into many investment projects with an emphasis on tourism, agriculture, energy, innovation and real estate.

In parallel, he is specialized on the evaluation of financial scenarios and risk management for public and private entities.

He speaks fluently English and basic French. From 2014 he is the Development Manager of planO2 Consulting

Dr. Ioannis Ganopoulos

Dr. Ioannis Ganopoulos is researcher of Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources-ELGO Demeter and has a scientific background on plants biotechnology on genetics, transcriptomics, genomics, developing molecular markers (RAPD, SSR, ISSR, SNP) to identify population structure and phylogenetic relationships.

Dr. Ioannis Ganopoulos, was born in 1982 in Drama, Greece. Dr. Ganopoulos received his BSc degree in Agriculture from the University of Thessaly (2000-2005) his MS in plant breeding and plant physiology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2005-2007) and his PhD in Plant Breeding from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2008–2013).

He has been awarded a Heracleitus PhD scholarship by the European Social Fund and the Hellenic National Fund. His main research interests focus on plant molecular breeding, plant population genetics and genomics, genetic diversity, DNA barcoding and molecular markers.

His recent scientific interests focus on epigenetics, DNA methylation and trascriptomic analysis for molecular breeding purposes. He has participated in more than 15 research projects, one of them competitive European project. He has published eighty-nine (89) reviewed articles in SCI journals and h-index=20. He was a co-worker in national/international projects and he is Editor in Frontiers in Plant Science journal.

Dr. Katerina Grigoriadou

Dr. Aikaterini Grigoriadou is a Researcher at the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Recourses of HAO-DEMETER, specialized in plant tissue culture. She graduated from the Department of Agriculture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received a PhD in biotechnology from the Department of Biology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She is administrating projects related in production problems, new product development and cost reduction. Previously, she worked as an independent research consultant in agriculture sector. She has more than 20 years’ experience in propagation of elite plant material using novel biotechnological methods (micropropagation, somatic embryogenesis). She was production manager for 15 years in the private company VITRO Hellas S.A (plant propagation material production) and Head of R&D department, maintained external cooperation relationship with HAO-DEMETER (formerly NAGREF) and other research institutions and for many years she taught at ATHEITh and MAICh (postgraduate level).

She is the author of many scientific publications, book chapters and books and has participated in over 40 research projects (national and European), 6 of them as a scientific coordinator. She was the president of the non-profit organization AMAP’s of Greece (2013-2016). She coordinated the General’s Secretary of Research and Technology consultative group on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (2014-2020 programming period) and she was a member of the fruit trees’  team for the drafting of RIS3.

Ms. Christina Paraskevopoulou

Ms Christina Paraskevopoulou is a PhD Candidate at the Laboratory of Statistics and Qualitative Analysis Methods of the Industrial Management Division of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece.

Her PhD Thesis deals with the Design and Management of Sustainable Supply Chains in the agri-food sector. Her research interests include sustainability, circular economy, precision agriculture, livestock farming solutions and agri-food supply.

She holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. With reference to her professional experience, Ms Paraskevopoulou is the co-founder of ENVCML (Environmental Consultancy, Management and Labelling), a company that focuses on Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Eco-friendly Tourism practices with certifications, training programs and consultancy.

Dr. Eleni Maloupa

Dr. Eleni Maloupa (BSc Agronomy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, MSc & PhD in Plant Biology and Physiology, “Pierre et Marie Curie” University of Paris) is Director of the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources, Head of the Laboratory for the Conservation and Evaluation of Native and Floricultural Species (LabCENFS) and Curator of the Balkan Botanic Garden Kroussia.

Her research fields focuses on protection, conservation, propagation and utilization of native Greek plant species (mainly aromatic-medicinal). She has teaching experience in graduate and postgraduate level (Universities, MAICH). She participated in the MSc program “The biodiversity and sustainable exploitation of native plants” (School of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and supervise MSc and PhD thesis in school of Pharmacy and Athens Agronomy University. Her research work has been published in more than 60 international and Greek journals. She has also participated in the publication of 3 book chapters.

She has implemented major research programs in collaboration with internationally renowned researchers. She has organized and materialized educational programs and seminars addressed to farmers, enterprises and interested civilians on the above-mentioned subjects. She has educational certification for adult training from the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP).
